On the 41st anniversary of the last American troops leaving Vietnam, a 14-foot bronze monument was unveiled at the Texas State Capital! The statue took almost 9 years to construct and is in memory of all of the Texans who gave their lives and in honor of the brave men who served during the Vietnam War.
Hundreds of veterans and their families attended the event to pay tribute to everyone who was affected by the war. It was not just the veterans who this war touched.
